“MY COUNTRY, MY CROSS”
Oh! My beloved country
Flowing with honey and milk
Yet! We drink our tea without honey or milk
My country blessed with abundance wealth
Yet! We beg for cowries to spend
My country full of wisdom
Kept in the crafted calabash
Like tortoise, greedy and cunning
Yet! We seek wisdom abroad
Oh! My beloved country
Once blossom in agricultural culture
Now a legendary and a history
Her tractors fallow and abandon
Her hoes and cutlass, long forgotten
My country, pregnant with natural resources
Scattered over her soil in countless number
East, West, North and South
Yet to be tapped
Oh! My beloved Country
Blessed with abundance homosapien
Agile, versatile and expertise
Uncared for, untapped and untamed.
But chooses to seek expatriate abroad
We choose to buy what is free
All for greed and selfish needs.
I weep aloud for my country’s future
As each sunlight and moonlight
Passes by me in exile where I reside
Where tax is like daily bread
Paying as you earn without excuse
Through, the work and the wages commensurate
Reason you struggled to remain in exile
Back at home, you may not pay tax
But, the work and wages are in chaos
Working for months without being paid
These and lots more go wrong at home
Politically you are unsafe
Economically, you are in trouble
Socially, you are in danger
Ritual killing and robbery attacks
Corruption, assassination and extortion reigns
Like kings and queens in diamond palace
A war is not won by running away
In spite of all odds at home at present
East or West, home is still the best
My country, my cross I know
Let’s join hands to carry our cross.
Like the biblical Jesus.
Bore his cross at Calvary

"Eni abi so ye"
Hmm!World, full of misery. Thought from subconscious. Can you crack the rack? I hope to start from the beginning, but the beginning starts from the end, this left me wondering "y".How can you place this?"Extreme Heat to Snow, then to etreme Heat and Snow, then to etreme Cold [Snow]. "Ojo kii pa ara igbeti, se bi eni abi lo ye lo oye pa"
